Sample Types We Support
Qiandao supports different sample types depending on your project stage, product category, and approval needs. Whether you are checking fabric hand feel, garment fit, logo placement, color accuracy, or final pre-production details, our team helps choose the right sample route before bulk production.
Fabric Swatches
Used to review fabric hand feel, weight, stretch, texture, color direction, and performance options such as quick-dry, UPF, water resistance, or breathable construction.
Lab Dips
Used to confirm color accuracy before bulk dyeing, especially for brand colors, seasonal colors, or programs that require consistent color matching across styles.
Fit Samples
Used to check garment measurements, body proportion, movement, comfort, and size grading direction before confirming the production pattern.
Salesman Samples / SMS
Used for buyer presentations, photoshoots, trade shows, pre-sale review, or internal merchandising before the bulk order is confirmed.
Pre-production Samples / PPS
Used as the final approval sample before bulk production, including fabric, trims, logo placement, workmanship, labels, packaging, and measurement details.
OEM Apparel Sampling Process
Our apparel sampling process helps brands and wholesalers turn tech packs, reference samples, fabric ideas, and logo requirements into reviewable garments before bulk production. Each step is designed to reduce fit issues, material mistakes, branding errors, and production uncertainty.
1. Requirement Confirmation
We review your tech pack, size chart, reference sample, logo file, fabric request, estimated order quantity, and target use. This helps our team confirm whether the project should start with a fabric swatch, lab dip, fit sample, salesman sample, or pre-production sample.
2. Fabric & Trims Sourcing
Fabric and trims are sourced according to the garment type, performance requirements, budget, and target market. For golf and fishing apparel, this may include quick-dry knits, stretch woven fabrics, UPF materials, water-resistant finishes, zippers, drawcords, buttons, labels, and packaging trims.
3. Pattern & Sampling
Our pattern team develops the first pattern based on your measurements, fit direction, and garment category. Whether the sample is a T-shirt, polo shirt, hoodie, shorts, pants, jacket, golf dress, or fishing shirt, we check fit balance, movement, seam position, and construction details before sewing.
4. Sample Production
Sample garments are cut, sewn, branded, and finished by our sample team. Logo application, embroidery, heat transfer, trims, care labels, size labels, hangtags, and packaging details can be reviewed on the sample where required, helping buyers evaluate a realistic garment before approval.
5. Internal Review & QA
Before shipping, our QC team checks measurements, workmanship, seam quality, fabric appearance, color matching, logo placement, trims, labels, and packaging details. For performance apparel, we can also review stretch, recovery, hand feel, breathability direction, and functional construction where required.
6. Shipping & Feedback
Samples are shipped with related measurement notes, fabric information, production comments, and approval points. After buyer review, we collect feedback, confirm revision details, and support the next sample round or PPS approval before bulk production planning.
Quick Turnaround
Standard apparel samples usually take 7–12 working days after fabric, trims, tech pack, and branding details are confirmed. More complex styles, custom-developed fabrics, special trims, or advanced logo techniques may require additional sample time.
