Yes—but the fabric system must be selected around that requirement.
The pictured style provides a clean pullover silhouette with a compact hood, regular fit and uninterrupted front. It can be used as the starting point for either a cotton-fleece golf layer or a more technical water-resistant version.
The supplied 330 GSM, 100% cotton fleece specification is suitable for warmth and casual winter layering, but it should not be marketed as a waterproof golf hoodie without an additional waterproof construction.
Current Cotton-Fleece Base Option
The standard version can be developed with:
- Approximately 330 GSM fabric weight
- 100% cotton knitted fleece
- Regular men’s fit
- Pullover construction
- Compact hood without visible drawcords
- Regular body and sleeve length
- Solid-color, plain-dyed body
- Suitable for cool-weather and winter programs
Because the supplied image does not show a zipper or pocket, these details should not be included in the final specification unless they are added during customization.
Waterproof Development Option
For buyers requiring a custom waterproof golf hoodie, the cotton fleece should be replaced or combined with a technical fabric system such as:
- Polyester-spandex outer fabric
- Waterproof and breathable membrane
- Laminated or bonded construction
- Durable water-repellent surface treatment
- Sealed or taped critical seams
- Water-resistant zipper if pockets are added
- Adjustable hood opening
- Reduced-bulk stretch panels for golf movement
A DWR finish alone only provides temporary water resistance. It does not make the completed garment fully waterproof.
Before using a waterproof claim, the buyer and manufacturer should confirm the required hydrostatic pressure, breathability target, seam construction and finished-garment test method. If no test standard is required, the safer description is “water-resistant golf hoodie.”
